Working with audio

The meets the recommended requirements of all the most demanding sound processing and music production applications, so you can seamlessly process audio on this system with FL Studio, Ableton Live, Reason, Cubase, SOUND FORGE, Adobe Audition, Audacity and other DAW tools. A wide range of internal and external ports allow you to add a professional-grade sound card, MIDI controller or musical instrument.

Photo processing

Although software developers are gradually introducing functions in the world's most demanded image and graphic editors that also involve the graphics card (GPU), the CPU still carries the bulk of the load in these tasks. This is why we have installed the powerful core processor with cache and base frequency on the motherboard, which the processor is able to increase to during more complex tasks. This is a very optimal configuration for Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Illustrator, as professional observation confirms that these applications can use a maximum of eight cores efficiently.

Photoshop CPU performance

If you are exclusively a photo processor in the Adobe CC environment, this system will not cause any hitches, even when editing huge volumes of images - paying extra for a Core i9, Ryzen 9 or Threadripper system will not bring performance improvements proportional to the price increase in this particular application. This is not the case for video and 3D content processing, where the number of processor cores has a much greater impact on export speed and the improvement will be dramatic!

For more complex projects in 4K or higher, we recommend doubling the RAM or choosing one of our Intel Core i7/i9 or AMD Ryzen 7/9 systems with 32GB or more of random access memory!

If you're wondering why we've chosen to install a gaming on this PC rather than one of the NVIDIA Quadro or AMD FirePro graphics cards designed specifically for professionals, our experience shows that gaming graphics cards are significantly lower in price but deliver the same or better performance than professional Quadro and FirePro solutions. In addition, the will allow you to clear your head in your spare moments by playing a demanding PC game that will be impossible with Quadro, as their drivers are not optimised for PC gaming!

CAD design and 3D modelling

Today's most popular 3D tools Autodesk 3ds Max, Maya, Revit and Cinema 4D can only effectively use one core during the model creation, modification and animation process, so the CPU clock speed plays a particularly important role during these operations - the higher the clock speed, the smoother the work will run. The same applies to AutoCAD, Inventor and Revit architecture and design software.

In contrast, in scene rendering (Arnold, Mental Ray, V-Ray, Keyshot, etc.), it is the number of cores that has a vital impact on the time taken to export the material, so that often in large corporations, employees are provided with a separate workstation for modelling, while the rendering processes run on completely different systems, known in the jargon as render farms.

The recommended RAM for the listed applications is between 8GB and 16GB, so the base configuration of RAM is sufficient to perform all the intended processes at a high quality.

By purchasing a PC with a Core i5-12600K processor you will get peace of mind for several years as its power allows you to render and work with complex 3D models and do professional video editing with fast rendering times. Advantages of a desktop computer

Mobile processors and graphics cards have become more powerful in the last couple of years but the difference between the performance of a laptop and a desktop PC is still marginal. This increases the noise and is very often not effective enough, so the CPU and/or GPU reaches its temperature limit and the thermal throttling (self-preservation by significantly lowering the clock speed) kicks in. That results in a big loss of performance.

Warranty information

Every TopPC.ee computer set is provided with a 2-year warranty. The serial number and individual warranty period of each installed component is reflected in the warranty certificate, which is issued to the customer in printed form upon receipt of the goods. For individual components where the manufacturer's warranty period exceeds two years, we will provide full warranty service until the end of the warranty period for that particular product. Our kits are not sealed or otherwise restricted, so the owner is free to open the case to clean it, add memory or make other changes to the computer.

Each TopPC.ee computer kit is made to individual order and according to the computer components specified in the order. Therefore, a computer package is a product that is made to the customer's specifications or is clearly personalised, and the consumer cannot exercise the right of withdrawal when purchasing a computer package (Article 16 of EU Directive 2011/83/EU).
