Qoltec's Wi-Fi module for communication with a solar inverter is an advanced tool that enables remote monitoring and management of the operation of a photovoltaic system. By connecting via an RS232 cable, the module transmits status and performance data about the inverter, which can then be displayed and analysed via Wi-Fi.
Seamless integration into the system
To ensure stable and uninterrupted communication between the module and the inverter, take care:
- Continuous Wi-Fi access: the module requires continuous access to the local Wi-Fi network, allowing data to be transferred to the monitoring application,
- Proximity to the router: It is optimal to install the module within range of a strong Wi-Fi signal to ensure stable communication,
- A distance not exceeding 100 metres: For the module to operate effectively, the distance between it and the inverter should be less than 100 metres.
Remote monitoring of inverter operating parameters
